Hi Martin. I am happy to relieve you of the Cateye for £15. We are not too far apart ( Tiverton/Ottery) so could meet up at a convenient time. Perhaps you could drop me a note on the "other" site with your phone number and we can discuss.

You got yourself a bargain sir! What is this "other" site you speak of? ;D You could use the pm facility on here phred. Perfectly secure. Enjoy your cateye computer.

I am sure it is Red but I haven't a clue how to use it. Must be a generation thing. I am not keen on posting any personal details on an open web site.

Phred, you just click on the member's name and then on their page there's a blue note that says 'Send Personal Message' .
In the very top box there's a bit that says 'you have no. messages' - that's how you get to managing your messages. I've sent you a message to show how it works.

Thanks for that Rads.
I didn't mean post personal info on the forum. As Rads said, there is a personal message facility.
Easiest way to do it is to click on the little envelope icon beneath the users name and avatar. This will automatically bring up the pm box with the users name already on it.
Hope this helps.

Thanks to both,
I am meeting Martin122 this morning to do the deal. Could this be the first non virtual meeting of club members?

Most likely - don't forget high 5's are compulsory, whilst you simultaneously bellow 'hail triban'!

I feel like the owner of a dating agency! Glad to get you both fixed up! ;D Met as strangers, left as friends. I do believe it was the first non virtual meeting. Obviously presume the obligatory high 5's and "Hail Triban" were in evidence too, as suggested by Rads. ;D

I am afraid we missed out on the ceremonials but will take more care next time. I am pleased to report that the Cateye Velo is working well but another hailstorm caused the extended road test to be postponed. Likewise nice to meet a fellow Tribanite. Its uncanny that we have both gone for pretty much the same upgrades.
