I made my first ever visit to a Holland & Barrett this afternoon. A red letter day since they must have been around for almost as long as me. I've always considered the shops to be the preserve of faddists and hypochondriacs and given them a wide berth and this view was confirmed when I heard a women ask for something to stop her worrying. I felt like introducing her to Rule 5 but then who am I to judge? I kept my counsel.
I found the tubs of orange and lemon drink but they were priced at £7.99 each. The sales lady was adamant the the price was correct but after I insisted that she check, she climbed down and I bought both flavours at the discounted price. I expect minutes will be whittled off my sector times now I have this rocket fuel.

I doubt it'll make you go quicker as some sort of excelsior potion but it might make it more achievable to push on for longer and hurt a bit less during and after if you're powering it .

I tried some this evening. Its tastes OK, lemon with a hint of salt, but didn't make me ride any faster. I think the discounted price was about right as the tub is only half full when the seal comes off.

Yep, the oversize packaging is one of those issues that gets my goat (on lots of things).

You'll probably find the salty taste goes if you do a longer ride and sweat more phred1812

You can also add a bit of squash to make a better flavoured drink.

No need for squash just use a weaker mix, listen to your body and its cravings !!!
