i cant seem to upload this onto my mobile ,
i have a nokia lumia and have a google play account but when i go the strava icon on the apps using the phone, it somes up the page with the install or add to wishlist and underneath it says you dont have any devices,
never came across this before when downloading an app and founf endomondo a lot easier to do ,
am i doing something wrong at all

must be something about the phone or is operating system which is incompatible with strava. Google play will know if your phone doesn't have the required version of android, or if the screen is too small for the app etc.
Just use endomondo and transfer the gpx across.

just read that strava isnt compatible with windows phones, look likes its back to endomondo for me

tbh I found endomondo to work better than strava anyway so still don't use the strava app even though I could if I wanted too. Doesn't really matter what app you use

I also use endomondo on my windows phone and then just export to strava, seems to work pretty well
