Hi Guys, I'm looking at getting a triban3 and was wondering what size people would recommend, i'm 5ft11, got about a 30" inside leg and most of my height is obviously in my torso, i was wondering whether the 54 or 57 would be best?! Any help is really appreciated, cheers!

I would say go for the 57, I'm 5ft11.5 inside leg I think is around 32" and the 57 fits me well - I think the 54 would be too small and you'd end up needing a really long stem.

I have 30 inch inside leg but I'm 5'8", I have 54cm. Right on the cross over point. I think you would benefit from the longer reach of the 57.
Decathlon will be very good, letting you try the bikes, adjusting a few things and let you ride around to make sure you get the right one for you.
Even if you have to compromise a little between seat height and reach to bars, there is always someone on here to give advice of how to overcome any issues.
Welcome to the tribe btw..!

I wrote a post about sizes on my blog. If you know your tall and your inside leg it will be easy to choose the best size. It's in cms, and in spanish sorry... biziosona.com/2013/08/13/ajustetalla-de-la-bici/Here you have a chart with the sizes. ;-)

I've just got my Triban7 size 60 which - word of warning - comes with a 130mm stem, not a 110mm stem like the size 60 Triban 3a I tested. My bike feels like it's a bit of a stretch but I'm going to bear with it for now and get Decathlon to switch this to a 110mm or even 80mm if I'm not comfortable after a few rides.
I'm sure with a slightly shorter stem the 60 would prove to be the right size for me.
Even without a stem replacement I rode it for two hours on Monday on my first ride to work/back without any issues or aches. Love that bike.

I'm 5 11. 32 inch inside leg. I've got a sixty. Had it since March. No issues. I did get a shorter stem. It suits me.

Why not go to Decathlon and sit the 54 and 57 and see which fits you best?
