Does aybody know what seat post width I'd need to buy for my rban 3 63ccm frame. And oes anyone believe a carbon seatpost would be any more comfortable than an alloy one?

I've just measured with vernier calipers on my Ts 57 frame, and that's 29.75mm.
second question, no idea if it would, or why it should be.

from what I've read you feel what you what to feel when it comes to seatposts, so you'd probably notice a difference but it would be the placebo effect.
though there are some carbon seatposts that are designed to flex and have a slit down the middle to allow this.

I've got a carbon seatpost and don't think it's made any appreciable difference other than bling, which is fine by me.

Carbon will flex more than aluminium, look at your forks and you can quite easily flex them if the wheel is off. But that is because of the long thin shape of the fork.
How much seatpost is exposed? That is the only part which is going to flex and being circular is in a strong shape as it is.
So yes a carbon seatpost flexing more than an aluminium one is marketing, you're not going to notice an extra 0.5mm of flex.

I've written this before on here but it seems apposite to mention it again, it's one i keep in mind for many similar marketing ploys... The owner of a fishing tackle shop once told me that most of the wares in his shop were not for catching fish but for catching anglers.
