anyone going? I got my tickets the other day.. Not sure what to expect really hopefully it will be better than the Manchester bike and tri show earlier in the year as I want overly impressed by that. lots of nice bikes but not many trade stalls unless you wanted energy gels and cakes!

I went last year looking for some inspiration as I couldn't decide what road bike to buy at the time. I must admit, I got a freebie entry as my son was working on one of the trade stalls but there was quite a lot to see. There was a track outside where you try out bikes and displays by BMX kids which was pretty impressive. Am I going this year? Nope - it's a 400 mile round trip but if I lived nearer I probably would. Did I choose a bike? Well I decided that the Trek Domane 2.0 was the one but luckily I read the T3 review before making a commitment!

I went last year and it was crap to be honest. Loads of expensive gadgets but not too much else.No bargains of any kind to be had. Walked around it in twenty minutes. Bored rigid. Sorry

I would like to go, but as with lots of shows I think I would be emptying by bank account too much. Bargains are not to be had at these places, unless, its a classic car show that has an auto jumble. Having been on the forum for a few weeks, I can see we all like a good value buy! acd1055 - hope you do have a good time, try to haggle and post back with a report.

I went last year, agree with jdebuse, Went there thinking it would be like the motorcycle show?? A place to pick up some last year bargains?? sadly there was none.
The only thing that I found any good was a stall that sold maps, brought a map for the coast to coast which I was thinking of doing next year?
But doing the end to end instead..
Sorry but £15 plus train fare. No not this year
