Here's my 2007 Specialized Stumpjumper. It was originally black with red stripes but a couple of years ago I stripped it down, spent 8 hours removing the paint, polished it to mirror finish then had it powder coated with clear lacquer. is it normal to get sexualy excited over a bike?

This is my beloved GT Zaskar Attachment Deleted'97 Frost Red frame, with '98 full XT groupset, and '98 Pace RC36 Evo forks. wheels are Mavic 517's on an XT rear and a Hope Suspension front, hand built by Dave Hinde in Northwich in '98. only needed a bit of truing. I built her in '98, and she's been laid up for a few years, until a rebuild which i started last year. New headset (Hope), new BB, new seatpost (Thompson Elite) and Saddle (Spesh Avatar). Easton EA70 bars and stem, and I've replaced the original Sachs Wavey grip shifters with Sram Attack Shimano 8-spd compatible rapid-fire's (new, only shimano compatible 8-spd shifters i could find). Forks have been rebuilt. Finished the rebuild today and took her for a little spin. Things left to do: check the torque of the bolts on the forks service the hubs Lube everything, replace the decals. I managed to pick up a set of NOS decals for this exact model frame from the US for Β£17! Even though i've fitted nice new Wild Gripp'r tyre (from Decathlon) she probably wont be hitting the trails again, she's a bit too precious. she'll just be my occasional getting around bike. Might mount her on the wall of my office

This is my beloved GT Zaskar Ooo, nice. I had a ball burnished GT Zaskar back in the early 90's, full Suntour Microdrive Pro groupset, rigid forks, flipflop stem, those were the days. Traded that in for an Orange Aluminium Elite, with Pace suspension forks, another sweet bike. Really fancy getting another 'old school' mtb, rigid forks, V brakes, nice and light and simple.

This is my bike I owned when I lived/worked in India for a year. It was 1000 rupees brand new which is equivalent of about Β£18 at the time. Sold it for 500Rs when I left. It was a real boneshaker but luckily I only had a 2km commute.

The only colour that's faster than red: Triumph 955i Speed Triple, 03 plate, owned for nearly 2 years now. Wanted one of these since the original Speedy was redesigned & relaunched as the T509 back in 1997. It was worth the wait - a quite ridiculous, batsh!t-mental motorcycle on every level, but as gentle & easy to ride as a moped - when you want it to be... Jon.

The only thing that mattered was how fast and how far you could ride in the hour!
