Allejuha. I have managed to download a picture. I bought this for my daughter around 10 years ago when she was about 15. Apart from posing on it once its never been ridden. It must weigh about 30 kilos and only has one gear. It couldn't be more unsuitable since we live in the Devon Alps. I spray it every year with a liberal coat of WD40 to stop it rusting.

Hooray for the post - blehhh to the pink bike; whilst I could see my little girl liking it, it's only suitable for a seaside boulevard and then only for sitting on to eat ice cream, so has got to be an eBay job that one lol !

I am getting carried away now. This is my trusty Giant CRS Hybrid. Its a 2008 model bought new in May 2009. Since then, apart from cleaning and lubricating the only work I have had to do is repair one punture and replace an inner tube when a valve got damaged. The Shimano Alivio gears have never needed adjustment unlike the Triban's which need to be tweaked on a regular basis. Its had a fair bit of use and been to France for a couple of summer holidays

Nice to see a Genesis on the Forum. My son has an Equilibrium road bike. Steel frame of course. When he bought it (admittedly with a healthy discount though his work), I thought it was a retrograde move but in fact its a great machine and as light if not lighter than some ally offerings.

My other bike, Specialized Hardrock Sport Disc 2012. This is what got me into cycling originally and I then decided to take to the road for a new experience! Still gets ridden very frequently though

Here's my 2007 Specialized Stumpjumper. It was originally black with red stripes but a couple of years ago I stripped it down, spent 8 hours removing the paint, polished it to mirror finish then had it powder coated with clear lacquer.
