I was looking to buy some thermal base layers for the winter and was looking at Merino wool, which are quite expensive, but I know they will do the job. I thought that I would look at Decathlon and I found these: www.decathlon.co.uk/simple-warm-ski-base-layer-id_8157253.html#avantagesThey are for skiing, but look amazing value (obviously not wool). What do you think? Will they do the job in the Winter on the bike?

They look good for £6!!
As soon as it's not cycling stuff the price goes down lol
Might have to give one a whirl!

Used them last winter under my cycling gear and they worked a treat. Brought 2 more so I've one each day if I cycle 5 days a week. Great to wear on their own too in the crisper weather.

Good find! I used a sleeveless baselayer I wear for football on Saturday and it was just the job, don't see why these wouldn't work.

Bought both top and bottoms of these last year and they were ideal on the bike, nice and warm

They do bottoms as well!
Tempted but if I get the full set there's a danger of them not coming off until next March.
I'm going to start a campaign to abolish 'Axial Tilt', it's long overdue I think.

I bought a long sleeve merino wool top from On-One last winter and can recommend this highly. Was less than £20 and keeps you warm even when wet.

Just bought this so good to hear it performs well, but it cost me £30 I take it on-one and planet-x are the same company looking at the website, which is exactly the same.
