Had domestic duties this morning so a ride wasn't possible. Would have been hard work anyway, it's blowing a hoolie up here. Lots of leaves in the air and I've also seen a few branches off trees on the roadside. Add to that, it started raining around an hour ago. Difficult cycling conditions! Took half an hour out of my chores to fettle the chain on the T3. Was in fine fettle tbh. A bit mucky but very little grit present. Got a good wipe and lube followed by another wipe. Lovely and smooth now.

I came across a tree which had blown over and was lay on the cycle track on last nights ride. Was doing 24mph at the time but my Lidl front light picked it up well in the distance. A sign of things to come perhaps.

It was on an unlit section of the cycle track as well. Quite a focusing moment. I notified the local council by email so hopefully it will get shifted.

It was nasty here too in Wolverhampton Walsall and Birmingham. Was booked on the Birmingham skyride but the weather had me drop out. My poor daughter was crushed. Next year.
