As per title. Bought earlier this year but just can't get on with drop bars! Bike is as new with only 300 dry miles covered, Size 54cm. Original receipt so all warranties are valid. Collection in Scottish Borders or could take to Edinburgh. £290 Will be buying the flat bar version (Btwin fit 5) as soon as sold! Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

I've got the same bike, so no interest to me, but it might be useful for potential buyers to know what frame size it is. Looks like a 54, yes?

Why not just buy some flat bars for it? Better than making a £129 loss on the bike.

Size now added thanks. If I sell for £300, the fit 5 is only £379 so it's not really worth the hassle. I'd rather someone else get a good buy & put it to good use & me get what really want.

I will however see if a friend I know who wants a road bike would be interested!

true that, shifters and brake levers might set himback say 130 quid, bars another 30, grips a tenner - all roughly of course but factor in suspected mechanic time and id say 200 quid maximum gets that bike sorted with flats and theres better wheels into the bargain straight away because the flat bar bikes use the btwin fit wheel and according to decathlon themselves they are as much use as a hula hoop with straws for spokes

It's just not happening Zoltser mate, gave it a good shot, changed seat & stem (originals will be re-fitted for selling if required), tried every bar/seat position under the sun but still, after 4/5 miles hands go numb then after a few more feet & balls go numb too! That spoils the ride alone but to be honest, even if that didn't occur, I still prefer flat bars with bar-ends on. Nothing wrong with the bike, drop bars are just not for me & I can't even see the potential in them. It's made me not want to ride & we can't be having that now can we? I've clapped a few pounds on too so desperate to get that flat bar one!! If you know anyone mate I'll bring it up to Edinburgh, I can pick the new one up while there.

Would you consider sending by courier. Or packing it up for collection?
I'm looking for a 54cm bike for my son.
We are in Norwich
Cheers, Patrick
