In 3 months I have clocked up 2,000 miles on my T3a (White Destroyer). So far all I have had to do was replace the chain at 650 miles with a higher spec KMC 8X which is still going strong. The rear tyre had flatted off but is still useable. Front cones have had it now and just been replaced but the rears are still in good condition. That's it - oh and I washed it a couple of times.
How is your bike holding up?

That is some amount of cycling 2000 in 3 months. I'm coming up to a year on my T3 and have probably done about 3500 miles and I thought that was good. Makes the bike even better value. Well done.

I'm just about to hit around 600/700 miles (500ish recorded on strava) since late May.
No problems at all so far apart from front deralliure adjustments.
I am starting to suspect the wheels need some attention because it doesn't feel like it rolls as well as my MTB, which has 8 year old Bontrager wheels.
T3a has become a lovable and reliable member of the family!

I have just replaced the rear tyre after the canvas started showing at 2,380 miles and it was so flatted off that the bike would stand up on its own. I put the front tyre on the rear as it has a few cuts and a new tyre on the front.
Anybody else ran the stock tyres til they died?

lol after having 2 punctures in about 3 days (1 front and 1 rear) I bit the bullet and bought a pair of Gatorskins 23c today from Halfords. took her out for a quick spin b4 the rain closed in and my initial reaction was that they didnt roll quite as well as the Hutchinson originals. may see as they wear in though.
just can't be doing with changing tyres / fixing punctures the whole time. used to having hi-spec tyres on previous bikes.
T3a - done probably 300 miles i guess in 3 weeks . apart from that, reliable fast transport. flipped the stem (big improvement), otherwise stock. Huge improvement over the classic 10-12 speed racing bikes I am used to.
