Anyone know when the Aldi specials are due out. They usually follow close behind if memory serves.

Usually only find out when it appears on the website. There's nothing vaguely cycling related in the coming soon bit so will be at least a few weeks.
Does anyone know what the pad is like on the bibtights? not expecting anything amazing but might be worth a go for the price

Well spotted.
The pump is a good buy. I've bought one before.
I may get the spoke reflectors and the bibs. I just bought the Btwin ones, wonder how these will compare? Anyone bought Lidl bibs before? The cycling jersey looks OK too.

Have a few lidl jerseys and shorts really are great value. So will probably get at least a jersey and maybe my first try at bibs. Thanks for the heads up.

Had the bibs from Aldi/Lidl before, padding is fine but the fitting is terrible. Worn them once then binned them. Got some from decathlon in the end that were on offer for about Β£30 - much better. Think one pair is enough for the winter weekend rides.

It would be worth getting the spoke reflectors and fitting them to my lads bike when he's not looking.

Have had some good clothing from Aldi/Lidl, mostly winter stuff (undershirts with windproof front/light breathable back, winter longs) where fit isn't so important, but some of the shorts especially seem just the wrong shape/fit. Worth trying, but be prepared to take it back if it doesn't fit - if in short supply consider buying a few sizes to try at home and take back what you don't use

Arm warmers and leg warmers for me I think.
May try the cheap entry into the world of bibs...... Not been there yet.
Spot on advice saying buy a couple different sizes.... Nothing fits as you hope.

Arm and leg warmers seem ok for here, fit well too (you can try the arm warmers in store, i guess leg warmers too if you really wanted to ). Bibs - It's not really just a case of the size, they're a funny fit. Think i went for large which were fine for length and fit around the legs but the crotch was very baggy. I would get a couple of sizes tho, i got a gilet from there a while back, picked a large, way too big. Swapped it for a medium, still too big, ended up with a small - at 6ft 1 i found quite bizarre but i did want it a snug fit.

I was in first thing this morning. Bought a pair of helmets, 2 long sleeve tops, arm and leg warmers, overshoes and hat, bib trousers, winter gloves and a cycle computer. All fits me really well and from my previous purchases should certainly last a while. Fantastic value

I bought a jersey, bib tights and a jacket. But got the jacket with a hood. So thats going back, if they don't have one without a hood. I'll just get another jersey
Was going to get the arm warmers. But the s/m legs were too small, and l/xl arms were too big

I tried my arm and leg warmers this morning. Very good till things warmed up. Cycle computer is also spot on for the money and you can even configure it to hide the display options you do not require rather than have to step through all of them. Helmets are the same as the one I bought earlier this year so I knew they would do the job and be a good fit and they also have a LED light on the back. Still too warm to try the rest of my gear.

Not for me this time round. Searching for a winter light and have the budget set at a Β£100, certainly not Aldi or Lidl this time round. Love the Aldi bike workstand used it yesterday and it was so convenient not bending the old back! and only Β£30!

But the s/m legs were too small, and l/xl arms were too big I've just brought a jacket, before I saw this post. Why on earth have they fitted a hood? It will have to go back unless I can persuade my missus to get out her sewing machine and remove it. Other than that I think it's great. Goes well with the 5a
