Just read that Bradley Wiggins is due to quit road cycling in favour of the track and has said that Chris Froome is a better Grand tour rider than him.
Interesting.

Yeah, he's aiming for the one-day classics next year and then shifting focus back to the track to finish his career at Rio

Man has a point...and I really don't see how it would work with both Wiggo and Froome on the same team. I love Wiggo and his TdF win was awesome, but Froome is King of the Road IMO - though Wiggo is still the best Time Trialer in the world. Nice to see him going back to track cycling though.

Yeah, would be good to see him win the Time trial at the upcoming worlds!

He's putting on weight for the World TT and with the aim of returning to track cycling for Rio. Putting on weight will affect his performance in Grand tours so looks like its the one day classics for him next year. It has already been said that the Rio team would need to dedicate two years to training so basically he can't do both.
Froome is the now better Tour rider and Wiggo knows this now. Don't get me wrong, love Wiggo and watching him win the tour last year was fantastic.
