Not sure if it's appropriate to ask on here but having pretty much decided I was going to go for the T5A I saw this www.wiggle.com/battaglin-s11-sora-2013/It's only Β£40 more so I'm tempted, if of course it's substantially better. I'd be interested to hear people's view on how these 2 compare, is there a 'better' bike between them, if so why?

Nice looking bike for sure.
Compact chainset rather than the triple on the 5a seems to be the major difference, and it arguably has better wheels. So I guess the question is does your fitness level/terrain require the triple?

Just been doing some reading on triple v compact and I reckon I'll be better off with triple - I live in N Wales and while I'm reasonably fit I like the option of being able to spin up hills. Just seen some Ridley bikes on chainreaction that are heavily discounted, I need to stop this and make a decision!
Thanks for reply - it all helps get closer to a decision...

Don't forget the lifetime frame warranty on the T5a and 2 years on everything else.

Looks like a nice bike. They state "I can confirm that the weight of this frame is 9,450 kg." Not sure which frame size this is for and surely they mean the whole bike weight. The frame only cannot be 9.4?
