Mine had the handlebars and pedals sticking out the box (and a flat tyre!). Woeful packaging, but no serious damage other than a scratch to the pedal and a bit of scuff to the tape, only took 3 days for me to inflict far worse on the bike by dropping it etc!!

Cosybike, your box is mint compared to what mine looked like! Luckily only the shifters/ rear mech showed any signs of scratches, which Decathlon sorted out without any fuss. My recommendation is to buy instore, rather than to have delivered. Until the courier/warehouse issue is sorted. I would recommend picking up instore as well if poss. But its not allways possible. No stores had any within about a 200km drive.Decathlon online would not send to my nearest store that is only one hour away!

I've messaged their customer service to be able to order direct to store and/or transfer between stores.

I ordered mine last October and living in Cornwall mail order was the only option. The website directed me to Surrey Quays but they didn't have any stock whereas Stockport did. Initially they said that I would have to wait till they got more stock as Stockport did not send out to my area. I run a mail order business and pointed out to them that this was ridiculous as Parcelforce will collect and deliver anywhere in the UK. About three days later I was the proud owner of a red T3 delivered from Stockport! Box wasn't brilliant but bike did arrive undamaged.

They wont let a courier pick up in France for some reason, Stupid if you ask me but thats the way it is, they still have great bikes though!

Absolutely ridiculous of them to send you a bike like that. Have received bikes in the post before, and they were covered in bubble wrap and cardboard. I recently sold and posted a bike on ebay, I turned it into a snowball of bubblewrap and posted it for Β£25. No reason they can't do the same for less.
