Personally, I'd be worried about taco-ing such lightweight wheels with a combination of my bulk and our horrendous road surfaces!!

Personally, I'd be worried about taco-ing such lightweight wheels with a combination of my bulk and our horrendous road surfaces!! combined weight limit is 105kg right enough but they are apparently, literally and categorically nuke proof by all accounts talking of trashing wheels, check this out over on bike radar....

Oooh, that puts then (just) within my combined body and bike weight too then. Ouch, that looks a nasty one.

bit of t-cut, should buff out
those swissies are weird though, the entry level wheel is around the aksium level, wood effect decals, mental their names are a bit off, st bernard, heidi and the top wheel the franc
not that pleased with the prospect of some swiss lassies name on my rims but its a small price if they are as good as they say

If you're going for the swiss wheels, keep an eye on ebay here. They seem to have them on there fairly regularly direct from the factory and they go much cheaper than RRP. Recently there's been Heidis for Β£195, Gotthards for Β£270 and Francs for Β£260

I wonder where the cut off is for price vs return on wheels. I know it's often budget but Β£1000 on a bike is where I perceive value for every extra pound spent falling off. Where do we think that sits for wheels. However there is a caveat... If the bike or wheels are shiny and lush the price doesn't matter

That wheel above is nothing other than catastrophic failure. Now what caused it? Pot hole, defect or rider weight? lol

Would that be in any way covered by the manufacture or retailer?
