Seen a few guys talking about cadence the other day. just wondering what's the fastest speed you've logged, and was your underwear ok after it?

51mph and escaped with a clean under-carriage. It's only afterwards that you think about what sort of state you'd end up in if you binned it at that speed!

True Del, even at 20 mph its soreeeeeeeeeeeeeee, anyway 39 mph and near crapped them when 2 dogs were gonna cross my path, luckily owner called them back.

39 and 51 sounds nuts to me, that's obviously the novice in me but i could never imagine going that fast and keeping my eyes open!!

I'm a decent descender, which is probably just as well as I'm a God-awful climber!!! When the time comes you can give me a few pointers mate, been watching a few youtube vids on descending but nothing beats getting out and doing it for yourself.

To go fast I'd need to be going down a big hill, no way I can climb a big hill yet so max is around 31mph I think.

42mph on a nearby hill. I haven't tackled it again since ive greased the wheel bearings so hoping I can manage to get a little bit faster.
