Wow, seems it really has taken off in the UK more than anywhere else in the world, even the US.

Aye. We seem to be leading the way on the cycling front, hammy.

How funny, well spotted @davefy7. An almost complete absence of use in France!

I love graphs. That's fantastic!
Did anyone else spot what must have been a moonlight competition ride in the UK, from west to east. Check out the times from midnight to 6am. Like a bright blue worm travelling across the country.

The Dunwich Dynamo, an annual βthrough the nightβ ride from London to Dunwich stood out the most. At first I thought it was bad data since they were the only ones out in the extra early morning hours.

Excellent! I didn't read the blog (dipping in and out while working), it really does stand out though.

Good find.
I think the larger area of the US makes it look less used. Need overall figures because I would of thought they'd be heavy users.

Yeah I saw that and thought it might be the Dunwich Dynamo, it passes though my town (sudbury) and a few years ago I was walking home drunk about 1am and say dozens of bikes pass me.

My ride to Usk with @robsims and then solo, on past Llandegfyd Reservoir shows up, including the little wobbly spaghetti like U turn manoeuvre I did into the car park to take the pic shown in 'who's getting out there' - a lovely day.
Think the craze for UK cycling, good weather, population density, language plus proliferation of smart phones and logging devices all play a part here.
