Hi guys, I've been looking at the B'twin Triban 3 and I am confused about what size to go for, I am about 5 foot 11 / 6 foot and I have read that a good size for my height would be 57cm on other websites however on Decathlons bike size guide it recommends 60cm. Also what do these numbers on the decathlon website mean: Thanks

Hello and welcome
I'd say 57 is most likely to fit. Those are the sizes in cm and inches.

Agreed with @ohoward, not that i'm an expert but i'm the same size as yourself and have been told the same. Dunno about your inside leg but i'm approx 32" or just shorter.

I'm 5 11. I opted for the 60. I've had it since Feb. I've had no over reaching issues. I did buy a shorter stem and flip it. The longest ride I've done so for is a sixty miler. No issues. Its a personal thing I guess.

Guys don't be tempted to go against recommendations to the next size up or down. Getting the right size is as important as finding the right bike and components in your budget.
If you can, always get down and ride each size and make sure you are comfortable on it.

At the moment i have an old 60cm bike (not a compact frame) and it feels just a tad big for me also it feels i am over reaching a bit. will the compact frame make it smaller?

[/quote] Sorry to ask silly questions but have you rang them direct? Heard a few guys on here saying the website's availability is fairly unreliable and instore there's always a chance they actually have one when the site says they don't. If you have then apologies mate just trying to come up with ideas.
