saw this bike in the glasgow store today, first time ive seen anything other than the FC3 in person
internal cable routing, carbon mono frame, ultegra and rs80 c24 wheels
must say was surprised at the wheels, they look awful, im sure they run well but it looks like the rims have been taped together
the frame is mega chunky, at least 4 inch wide down tube
light as a scotsmans wallet! what do you guys think, retails a penny shy of 1990 Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

You are right it does look chunky. Notice the CD on the saddle interesting I thought that was history now. Rather the FC3 and that's not due to the fact I can afford that one and not this.

That amount of money could goto my new car or my daughter's third year university equipment list. Hell I don't have a house yet how about towards a deposit? End of the day I will never spend over Β£1500 for a bicycle. I guess Whitney will like the sound of that.

I like a lot. Especially the 'industrial' look. But my wife and I have just booked a nice holiday, so guess I will be staying with the T3 a bit longer!!!

Reminds me of the angling shop chap.
He told me that most of the stuff in his shop wasn't for catching fish, it was catching fisherman.

My next bike with your new wheels on it, far better looking than the rs80 I've got the RS80 C24s on my T3 and they do run really well and weigh nothing. I know what you mean that in some angles they look quirky but as a whole I think they do look the business.

I love my T3 but I'm always on the lookout for something spesh. Ill defo being going carbon with a ten speed groupset. So many nice bikes out there. My super fast red beast is still to new and tidy to think about an upgrade yet.

Every time I see this bike it reminds me of an F-117 stealth bomber and I like it. However I can't see myself (unless I had lorry loads of cash) buying it because it would not benefit my ability more than an FC3/5/7 (I think).
At this price, you should be shopping around to see if PlanetX, Ribble, etc offer something better. I suspect not?
