This is a good source of feel good achievement by those who went to the 2013 event: www.flickr.com/photos/bhforguk/sets/72157634210936150/My mom past away some years ago due to a heart attack and I feel somehow entrusted to get as many people possible to support the work of the British Heart Foundation and signing up for the London 2 Brighton 2014 is one way a cyclist can show appreciation and have fun! So come on make the commitment.

The BHF L2B isn't a sportive in the normal sense. There's no official timing, not all the roads are closed and you get stuck in very long queues at regular bottle-necks. However, I did it this year, it was great fun and I intend to do it in 2014.

So baldbloke are you saying that it's actually an audax UK?

This year I did it on my own , travelled from Portsmouth upto Clapham on the train. Then the team car with Mrs Havoc met me about half way and did a water and refuel stop , onto Brighton where Mrs H was awaiting the peleton then back home to Portsmouth in the family team bus. Then arrived home for the team masseur ( Mrs Havoc with a different hat on ) to rub me down with a rubber gloves and baby oil , jobs a goodun
