Had a slightly silly day on Sunday (by my standards). Was worried about saddle, but that was not the problem. My problem is my hands. I know loosing weight, and back exercises will help, but can anyone recommend good/good value gloves?

get aldi or lidl gloves, seriously - you could spend a fortune on various types but the ones from the supermarkets are comfy and bombproof, ive got as pair that have lasted 3 years whereas my btwin ones sit idle as they are rubbish and the garneau ones are just too lightweight
honestly im no pulling yer plunger, the supermarket ones are good, plenty around at the moment

I like the sound of Lidl/Aldi, from other subsequent posts I see it might be more complicated than gloves! Thanks for the advice

Second the Aldi/Lidl ones. Got 4 pairs now - each of them are very comfy! (Pick up a new pair each time there's a cycle event on).
Done some big rides in them without discomfort.

A couple of times a year for each i'd guess - last one was a few weeks back at Lidl - if you've one nearby they may still have some gloves in.

There's one at the end of my street, had a sneaky look last week for any stuff but it was all out. Need to keep my eye out for the next one and get in quick!

You know I saw a Bell gel pad road gloves in my Asda for around Β£10. They actually feel good. Have a look you might like them. Aldi/Lidl are seasonal products. Asda now has a small bike section.

Try Asda, I picked up a pair of Bell ones last year for under a fiver. They get washed too most weeks and are holding together well, must have ridden a couple of thousand miles wearing them.

I must find a good pair without breaking the bank. I'm feeling road vibrations alot. I can't stand the Lidl ones, they were just ugly and I'm no cycling catwalk model. Maybe Aldi will have better ones in next sale.
