The Barrie Williams Challenge, 62 miles, Start between 08.30 - O9.15am from Pattingham Village Hall, Pattingham, Nr Wolverhampton, WV6 7EG
Once again we are pleased to present our Annual challenge, open to all cyclists young and old. Not a race but an enjoyable 62mi1e ride through some of Stafffordshire's most beautiful countryside. A warm welcome is extended to all our regular riders plus any newcomers who wish to come along and experience a thoroughly enjoyable day in the saddle, at whatever speed/pace suits you. The usual light refreshments will be available (all included in the entry fee) at the start, Offley Hay Village Hall (30miles) and at the finish.
Route details in brief are as follows:- Pattingham, Codsall, Penkridge, Haughton, Eccleshall, Offley Hay
Village Hall(checkpoint),Newport,Shifnal,Beckbury and Pattingham. The route this year is mainly flat, with the final 2Omiles undulating, there are no BIG hills as such. Also this year, we have decided to reduce the pre-entry fee to Β£8.00 as a thank-you to everyone who has contributed to the success of this event over the past 13yrs.

Spoke with Gil yesterday and he's accepting sign ons at the club meeting this Monday so I will be going there to get some more info on the sportive itself too. Any one else interested!
