Ordered the T3a after trying to find the t3...(no luck). Love the colour, the spec is fine and the price but was a bit concerned that they only seem to recommend 30-60 km rides?! Is this just something lost in translation. Worries me that a company would sell their product by limiting its capabilities in its description?!

A case of Franglais in reverse, I wouldn't worry!

It's no laughing matter. It's just a straightforward conversion error - it should read 30-60miles. You really don't want to know what happens when you exceed the recommended distance... All I know is some of our longer range members have posted some very bizarre messages before going very quiet...

I wouldn't be worried about the distances they mention in the blurb (my T3 got me from London to paris and also plenty of other long journeys).
Whilst it can be a bit off-putting, I admire Decathlon for trying to explain the differences in their ranges. Most other sports companies (and most other manufactured brands) just tell you that every product is superb and if you are a novice, you have little idea why there are 'brilliant' products for a fraction of the price of others in the same range. Not everyone understands the differences between components etc.
One area Decathlon really excels is in their shorts/bibs, they have a 3,5,7. Next to each product they explain the materials and also recommend how long a ride they are suitable for. Quite simply, if you are doing 10 mile rides, you don't need a pair of shorts made for 60 mile rides. Look at most other brands and they tell you that all of their shorts are fabulous, even though the pads are all different.

Wouldn't worry about Decathlon's blurb.
I've recently done a 82 mile sportive on the 5a and she's still in one piece ;-).
If you are planning long distances however, I recommend changing the saddle in the first instance.
