Bianchi has the family coat of arms, Pinarello has the Olympic rings, and we have some bloke riding paddle footed on a kids bike as our head tube decal.
What can I do about this???
The decal appears to be lacquered over so there is no chance of removing it. I could give him a big smiling face with a Sharpie pen but I think that would make it worse. Has anyone successfully changed this decal to something a little less embarrassing and if so, how?

Lol you know I never looked at it like that but you are right, not sure why they went for that logo. I think the new one is better and looks 100% more appealing on the top range FC/Facet type frames. Surely they didn't have the old logo on previous Facets?
As to removing it? Hmm something tell's me you may make it worse and damage the paint job.

Not a good logo is it? I think they could have done better.

It's only the 3 that has that as far as I'm aware. The 5 and 7 use the btwin radial logo (no idea how else to describe it).

I have a 'DC -Bikes' skull and crossbones sticker I found on a back-issue of 'MTB Rider' from about 2002!
It fits a treat over the 'stick-man' decal and, combined with the RaceFace evil eye on the front of my stem gives the impression that me and mi bike are not to be messed with.
The sad truth, of course, is that I am just a wheezy late middle-aged bloke who somewhat resembles the b'twin stick-man.....so who am I trying to fool!

I think it is there to teach us all humility and not to be prideful of our bikes. Can't think of any other reason. I could get a sticker to go over it but can't think what. A current manufacturer is out of the question, a Wolves FC badge would get me run over, maybe a redundant badge like a Vintage Hercules one as it is part of where I come from or should I just get the Mushroom guy from Mario?
BTW Robothamster, is that red thing on your handlebar a light? It looks good.

The T3a has an X, with one of the spokes in red. I'll post a pic later if I remember!
