Or, are they one and the same?
Also, while we're at it, can someone recommend one, as cheap as possible, as I now have nothing to pump my tyres up with before each ride, so I am currently having to roll the dice (so to speak!) for each ride!

Aye the same, better with one of those than a hand pump though, those things are awful

I have a hand pump for emergencies until I have the right gear/saddle bag to put all my gubbins in for my rides, but I need something to pump up/check the tyres before I head out each ride. Don't want to spend a lot of money on one, just one that's going to do the job as I still have shoes, pedals and shirts to purchase.

Hi Jon basically the same although a track pump will probably inflate to a higher pressure. Beto pump on eBay Β£12.99 bit.ly/18jhQFa

I second the Wilko Β£8.99 one. I've used it to inflate to 150psi, gauge goes to 160. (Assuming the gauge is correct of course, but no reason to think it isn't!)

Thirded! For the price, in fact, for any price, the Wilko pump is excellent. I got it after previously buying the very poor (for me at least) Beto pump also mentioned here, which wouldn't attach to Presta valves and wouldn't create a proper seal on Shraeders.
