Mine's flipped, made a huge difference. Same here, especially with the 130mm stem on our 63s. The difference between being able to ride and ending up in traction for a month. Mine's not, Rule #5 ! I do think it looks better 'unflipped', but for me, and I'm guessing for Robothamster too, it was pretty much a necessity. Having said that, when I get my 90mm stem and get more used to the racier position, I'll see if I can handle it without being flipped. I thought I'd wake up today with terrible backache but it wasn't bad.

Only joking, err on the safe side; I think the order of working is set saddle height and fore aft / angle of saddle / saddle type, which will put your hips in the right spot if done correctly - then you work out if stem and bars need tweaks. All kind of inter-related and one problem can lead to another so get focussed on it over the first few rides, also be wary that the body will be adapting as well so something of a moving target that needs reviewing occasionally.

Cool, so there's a practical reason for it that not everyone needs to do. That makes sense, i genuinely had no idea. I have 32" inside leg length so i doubt that'll be a problem for me, i'm just a wee guy!

Regarding frame sizes, I think the 63 is actually quite 'small' for a biggest frame. My Ridgeback Velocity hybrid is frame size XL, but there's also a larger XXL frame, yet the Ridgeback XL is slightly larger than the T3 63. I wish I'd tried a T3 63 when I was at Surrey Quays in April because they had several of them. Luckily I got one in the end.

Completely agree, it's a small frame mainly because of the sloping top tube. If you put a tape measure from the centre of the BB to centre of where top tube meets seat tube it's actually only 520mm! But if you project a horizontal line from the highest point of the head tube back through the seat post this intersection is 630mm, but is almost 3" above the top of the seat tube.
