I was looking around for some time trying to find a carbon seatpost for my T3. Like @robothamster I bought mine mainly for the looks and also hopefully for a smoother ride. Originally I was looking at the Chinese imports on eBay (FSA layback for Β£20) but after reading numerous reviews on cycling forums I decided not to, mainly due to safety concerns and not being a genuine product. In the end I spent a little more on a Deda Drittissimo.

Wow, that's cheap was that a special deal/lucky find? I've been tempted to pick one up myself once payday rears its head again. I noticed someone had posted a Cannondale C2 carbon seatpost for a similar price as yours although that turned out to be just a carbon wrapped seatpost so I didn't bother. Nope, some of the earlier ones were. New c2s are full carbon, not wrap. The one that was shared on here was carbon wrapped unfortunately: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/380662283437One of the seller's negative or neutral feedback was from someone who had bought one and then received a refund for misselling. The feedback just said received a refund as not as advertised, but I contacted the person directly via message and they got back to me as to why. *edit* it's one of the seller's neutral feedback. Maybe you just got lucky.

Hopefully will find out tomorrow when it's fitted if the ride is any better, just waiting for a shim to arrive. Although it was bought more for aesthetics.
