I went down the 'Specialized' Arseometer route at my LBS, and apart from looking a bit of a prat whilst sat on the device in the middle of the store I ended up with a Specialized Riva which cost Β£25 and is really compfy, especially compared to the original T3 one.
Would definately recommend the Arseometer if your LBS has one.

I've got an Evans and a Leisure Lakes near me, so hopefully one of them will have one.

My OH is not sold on the charge spoon saddles either. Luckily I only paid Β£9 for it from wiggle when it was on offer. Also luckily, I find the stock saddle comfortable for anything upto 100km or so. Now all I need to do if find something more comfortable for my tourer. What I sat on for 12 months and nearly 9,000 miles on tour is no longer comfortable for some odd reason!
