If anyone wants to stick Radchenister's route into Google Earth or one of the other mapping apps, the file should be available here.

We'll go for September, I'm assuming BA will be in? We'll call it 'Last of the Summer Wine Ride' . It will also give people a chance to do a bit of hill practice if they're not used to them ... although as I've said, I've managed to dodge some of the steeper stuff when planning this ride. New link coming up!

I know you're not bothered budd', I've seen your Strava ... but I am aiming to get the crew around some decent celery with minimal pain involved for the flatlanders . It's a similar climb to the one you all did out of the harbour but perhaps not quite as much rise. New thread posted here: triban3owners.freeforums.net/thread/1344/last-summer-wine-nempnett-thrubwellPV, please pop your Google Docs link on there as well?

There are hills around, I just need to get into the habit of pointing my bike towards, rather than past, them. I saw one this morning and wondered if I should build that into my commute. May try it on the way in tomorrow morning.

I already push it quite hard on the way in to work (for me), and with no shower at work, I feel it is my duty to my co-workers to avoid hills as far as possible . I am making a sacrifice for others . My brother-in-law-to-be has just bought a T3, completely out of the blue, so let's see what a bit of friendly competition will do for my climbs .

You have to mix in some climbs PV or you'll just float in and out of work without challenging yourself much for ever and a day. Got to get out the comfort zone every now and then if you want to improve.

I would save the hills for a weekend or perhaps an evening ride though. Just something to mix it up a bit.

Arrrghhh, damn iPhone! They're the right way up when I look at them... Cheers for coming along chaps, have a think about the next one. I found out it's how you hold the phone when taking the pictures. Make sure the volume buttons are on the up side.
