Oh no! Took my T3 to LBS for a service today. All is well, but on way back I managed to put a nasty scratch on the downtube while mounting the bike onto the car rack . Does anyone know an exact colour match for my beautiful red bike? Thanks in advance.

No replies? Maybe it was a daft question, but would have thought that there are a huge ammount of bright reds even at H**frauds etc. I was hoping that someone might have found a good colour match already.

Give it a while. Most people are probably at work and no access to the forum. You could always try your wife/girlfriends nail varnish collection, you never know. You might find a match. Zeb

You will need on of the Decathlon people to answer this question. I will be interested to know the answer too.

Just hope it's a Ford colour and not a Ferrari one, otherwise it's going to be a bugger to find.

I recall right at the start of this forum someone saying toolbox red at halfords was an exact match. You might want to search that out

I prefer to keep the various scratches and chips as battle scars......it's not like the frame is going to rust.

its the one and only time you should use decals, sometimes you gotta get creative but touch up paint on a bike is never going to turn out stunning, cubey has a point too, few battlescars are no bad thing
