I've stumbled across this calculator that tells you ideal sizing for your bike (including stem length, saddle height etc) by simply inputting a few measurements that you take of yourself. It even comes up with three different approaches so you can choose the style of riding you would prefer: www.competitivecyclist.com/za/CCY?PAGE=FIT_CALCULATOR_INTROIt's been a handy reference for me in readjusting my saddle height after having some complaints in the rear area since I swapped over my saddle!

Thats the most comprehensive calculator i've ever seen. thanks. Just tried it out. admittedly some of the measurements where a little rough given i was on my own, but i wanted to see how it worked out. One of my bikes was professionally fitted so to set up my T7 I translated the measurements. The calculator came out pretty close, it said that my top tube length should be 53.5 to 53.9 so i feel quite chuffed with my decision to get the 54 T7 over the 57 the saddle to handlebar measurement was spot-on, with each bike being at either end of the range (stem lengths vary by 5mm) Interestingly, though, the bb-to-saddle measurement was about 5cm out.
