Clarks pads fit perfectly into the stock cartridges...as, I imagine, do any Shimano system compatible brake blocks.
This is how I am running my brakes currently.
Not overly impressed by the 'Clarks' though.

Thanks Z. Has anyone tried the Tektro R510 Calipers? I was under the impression the the standard one are rebranded Tektros. They certainly look very similar. Despite fitting absurdly expensive Swissstop pads I cannot say that my brakes are that great. The ones on my old Giant hybrid are much better.

Yeah, it's the reason why I got a T3, and (yesterday) ended up here. Great forum by the way - wish I'd found it earlier.

Why not impressed with the Clarks? Thanks

I don't know...maybe I expected more after reading the hype. Stopping power doesn't seem to have increased over the stock ones much, wet or dry. I'm still squeezing for grim death! I fitted some KoolStops to my MTB (Funnily enough - my actual V brakes hardware is made by Clarks!!} at the same time, and even allowing for the fact that V brakes convert a lot more power than road-bike brakes they really were heart-meltingly delicious to use...great control and modulation and as powerful as you could ever wish.
I will certainly try the road bike equivalent of these on the Triban at some point.
but
The Clarks were hard,(not in a good way) - the various corrugations and dimples just collected scratchy grit, and they left black and grey stains all over the stays and forks that only come off with Megs scratch Remover.
YMMV. w

Not much I can say on the Clarks pads too coming from a disc brake on MTB I was practically shock at the stoping power of the stock pads on my T7 so changed out the front to the Clarks. Still got the rear but actually planning to put the shimano dura ace pads there to see what they are like. Some one said they were very good.

Obviously dragging up an old thread here but I really want to get my hands on these scans of the Triban 3 and its upgrades as I want to make some myself, though when I try to download the PDFs I just get the following error message:
'This forum has exceeded its attachment space limit'
Anyone know how I can get hold of them?
