Had a Sparrow hawk take a Sparrow in our garden on Friday, started to pluck it on the grass the wife wanted to stop it but it's got to eat as well so I got her to leave it alone

I had an early morning visitor. Picture taken through window so not great quality. I tried a bit of deerstalking but she was on to me. Hiding behind an apple tree. I tried getting round from another direction but she was gone like the wind. I have no idea how deer get into or out of my garden as there are hedges on all sides.

I took quite a few piccies of this little chap. I stopped at a picnic bench for a beer and sandwich during my tour and he helped himself to some lager.

A farmer was cutting the hay in his field while up above this chap was intent on swooping down on anything that might be revealed. A Swiss Buzzard I think.
