Agree with all the above, their gear is great for the money but TEAM and TRACK scream CHEAP and TACK to me. I think they've misjudged badly. Maybe Carrera riders will buy them

Any opinions on the wireless bike computer?
I usually use an old smart phone as a bike computer if I'm following a route, but if I'm not I have no device and I miss knowing my speed.

Never look at the speed - I'd only be disappointed. Just like I am with the Aldi offers. Not interested in any of them.

Nothing there that excites I'm afraid.

Might get some gloves. The Lidl ones I got in their last special are good but are already wearing out. Having said that I'm considering ditching gloves on sunny days as my tanned arms but snow-white hands are getting a bit annoying (Serious actually, that sort of thing messes with my already low self-confidence )

I bought one last year, seemed to be good but has been playing up recently. Not working for my last two longer rides but working fine for the hour blasts in between. Fortunately I have a good idea of how fast I'm going based on feel, leg speed and what gear I'm in.

Thanks for the answer, I'm hoping a cheap and cheerful speedo will get me to that point where I can judge my own speed too. I just suffer from that need for gadgets condition!

I'm in agreement on the kit - I have a few aldi bits and pieces which are great but that does scream cheap and tacky to me as well - Not a bike snob in the slightest and am happy wearing the previous plain stuff but wouldn't wear that stuff in a million years to be totally honest. I am tempted by the GPS watch for running as I had previously looked at the garmin forerunners (which are nearer the Β£100 mark) - when I eventually get back round to running that is - it's more a dark night winter pursuit for me - if it's dry and sunny the bike wins every time

Got the bike stand. Bit heavy, but ace for the money. And dead stable to boot.
My last comment on the toolkit - the spanners are thin and bend and break whilst damaging your bike. The chain whip should be longer, I could go on, but save your money.

I bought some socks, I think they are fantastic for the money - I fancy the bike stand too, but having a bit of a cash flow problem at the moment - I have 3 aldis within 15 minutes and like to think they wont all sell out.
