I went to uni in Cardiff, it's gone all fancy since I was there!

Working in Cardiff presently, great place and great beer, which has sadly grounded my 2014 health kick. Will try to resurrect it again this week.

There are some towns I haven't even heard of on that list.

I'd hasten there's potentially one, that's not a regional capital or hosting the Girl d'Italia !?

...in my list anyway - I want to know how they're swinging it in Bridgend?

Not sure I trust the prices on that list Rad, Southwell Nottingham is my home town. Last time I was back and went for a pint with my Dad it most definitely was not, nor is there a place to buy a pint, anywhere near the price of Β£1.46!

Oh, I'm shocked, is a spurious list on the internet not at all accurate ... blimey, who'd a thunk it.

I went to the Aldi in Ludlow on Sunday, loads of stock & not to busy. Purchased a new white helmet that comes with a detachable rear light. It's quite lightweight and sleek looking also picked up some matching white glasses and all for Β£13.98 both with 3 year warranty as well. Bargain.

Picked up two pairs of gloves, great value for money . I've been using Aldi gloves for the past few years but it was time for some news ones. Also got the windproof base layer.

Somewhat late response to an earlier post but yes, the computer can be stem-mounted. Picked one up for the OH's new MTB, other than that it's a generic wired cheapo, only notable (for its pointlessness) feature is a self-righteousness measurement, to let you know how much CO2 you would've guffed out if you were driving. I did wince a little at that.
Anyway I also grabbed 2x compression base layers, lightweight rain jacket & new mitts, which seem a bit overly padded on first inspection. Still too cold up 'ere to try them
Jon.
