I recently joined British Cycling (local club had leaflets given with 50% discount) - you know me, only buy something if it's a bargain! Once a member you can update your online profile, and add your bike. You do however have to choose your brand of bike from the drop down list. B'Twin is not listed!!! Outrage!!! I think they need to know about the brand, TOC and the great work we do getting people into cycling... When I signed up a couple of months ago on a half price deal through Chapeau (the offer is still on their site for anyone interested - look for the people's bicycle club) I found that British cycling have the Triban listed under Decathlon as the make, with model being B'Twin and then the type being Triban.

Question regarding BCC?? Why do you have to list your bike?? Dont get me wrong I love my T3, but the reason I ask is that I have 3 different bikes. Would BCC cover insurance wise all three or just the one I list??

I'll have a look for that then, never twigged that Decathlon would be the manufacturer...

Reply back from British Cycling:
Dear Ian, Thank you for contacting the British Cycling Membership Team. We are aware of the B’TWIN Brand of bikes and recognise that they offer a popular range of bikes, especially at the budget level. I have requested that our web team add the B’TWIN Brand to the drop-down menu of the My Bike section of the membership dashboard. Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact the team.
