Hi folks I am newbie thinking of a t5 or 7. I am 5 11 inside leg 29 so I think a 60 is the size for me. However they seem to disappear of the shops pretty quick . Does anyone know the lead time for these bikes.
Andy
Hey Andy! I've also ordered a 5A and they said it's going to be here in maximum 10 labour days ( That's like 2 full weeks). And it comes from France so it could be less if you ordered one from your country! As for the size, why did you choose size 60?! I am 5 11 too with 32 inseam and a 57 suits me very well! Cheers!
Just had email from Decathlon they have 1 of each size 60 so going tomorrow to try out for size. Will try a 57 too. The guy in the shop said I would probably be a 60 ! However will check tomorrow especially after reading Arny 's advice right at the beginning of the forum.

I was undecided on my size, being 182cm tall and 82cm inside leg.Decided to get 57cm Triban 5a and it fits like a glove..
182 centimeter = 5.9 feet 82 centimeter = 32.283 inch in old money so 57 cm is the one to go for especially with my short 29 inch leg (29 inch = 73.66 centimeter)
Going to change the pedals and tyres thou want michelin pilot tracker and clipless peds (probably dual ones). Going to decathlons tomorrow to sort out cannot wait to try it and to go for small rides to start from then working up to commuting. 30 mile round trip.
Just been to the Sheffield shop round journey of about 70 miles got myself a T5 size 57 asked them to replace the tyres for hutchinsons equinox and pedals (btwin dual clipless ones ) pick it up Saturday. They several T3 red version but size 54 also T5 size 60 if you want one ring them at the Sheffield branch.
I was after a triban 3 red and I tried size 54 in the store as well as my next door neighbours. When I road 54 at different seat heights my thighs where touching my tummy ( I dont have a big tummy, but have a little for a middle aged). They didnt have any 57's in stock at the store and i tried triban 5a and a triban 3a in 57 and i found it ok. I was lucky to find triban 3 57 back in stock online and got one delivered yesterday. But i have to strech a lot to reach handle bar. Its not confortable at all. I went back to the store again this morning and they said 54 is small for me i need 57 but a shorter stem
@ichayan I think you've answered your own question in your post - a shorter stem. See if Decathlon will swap out the stock one (is it 110mm on that frame size?) for something shorter, for free, and see how that feels.

I got my T5a at the start of August and it has the hutchinson equinox 2 on it already? Did I get a bonus?
sorry, but in my opinion anyone under 6 foot (unless thay are a very strange shape!) should not have anything bigger than a 57.
I agree. When you measure the inside leg make sure it's to the floor and if you use the advised book, make sure you shove it tight upto the precious area! Mine changed from 31 to 32" and upped my voice an octave.
