The new Belkin Kit is pretty nice... They're running a 'no gloves' policy! Not sure about policy, its 45 degrees in OZ at the moment. Mits to match...

A great result for Gerrans who is not normally regarded as a top sprinter. He could well hold on and take the GC now.

A great result for Gerrans who is not normally regarded as a top sprinter. He could well hold on and take the GC now. He's always had a very good sprint, just needs something to slow up or distance the fastest riders. The hill before the finish got rid of all but the Gorilla and it dulled his speed. Good tactics from OGE.

Tour de San Luis stage 2 is up and running, no live footage though we might get the finish. Nice little mountain top finish too. If you're on Twitter the hash tag is #TourdeSanLuis. Katusha Team β@katushacycling provide some really good updates in English for us language challenged folk.
We have a 5 man break about 4 minutes ahead.

Tour de San Luis, Stage 2 result:
1.JuliΓ‘n Arredondo (TFR) 2.Pete Stetina (BMC) 3.Nairo Quintana (MOV) 4 Atapuma 5 Pozzovivo 6 Zubeldia 7 Santaromita 8 Caruso 9 Rubiano 10 Sepulveda
Gaimon holds on to the lead, think he only finished 19 seconds down.
