I ride through the winter I work shifts so I do a 22 round trip every weekday, Only thing I am missing is some good shoes, overshoes, mudguards (desperate for those) and possibly some better gloves. Any recommendations welcome.

Did a 25 miler in the full Aldi winter kit I have had sitting around for a month.
Temperture here at 11 a.m. was 3C so got kitted up with thermal top and leggings, long socks, Aldi winter jacket and leggings (with the weird seat pad), Planet X over shoes and Aldi winter gloves.
All worked really well, too well even, had to swop the gloves for unlined long finger ones after about 10 miles as I was over heating. Didn't need the thermal leggings either.

Just remember it's just starting to get cold!

Still very impressed with the aldi long sleeved jersey, wore that today with just arm warmers underneath. Kept body snug and surprisingly dry in 7 miles of rain. Nice I got one too and it is really good.

i ordered the planet X winter bundle. I think its a bloody bargain. So thanks to whomever recommended it.
As I side note they are now selling a tool kit which I already own and can vouch for. its a tad under Β£25. only caveat is that the large spanners don't fit the lock-nuts on the BT Triban 3 hubs which are 17mm and the largest spanner is 16mm.

Completed my winterisation process with the changing of the tyres - pair of Continentals 4 Seasons 25mm. They really have good grip!along with the myplan rear lights with the laser lane with a Cateye Volt 300 on the front and fibre flare USB as secondary on the front. Want to get a rear red fibre flare for the back as secondary back Whitney has been soaking up just too much cash this month. Next month.
