A guy who works in the same office as me saw that I had started riding my Triban to work and told me about it

Was researching Tribans, and ended up on a discussion at another forum (city cycling Edinburgh, or something) which pointed me here.
I must confess, I don't actually have a Triban yet, but have just ordered one.

Hi, I was looking into getting a road bike for the first time and read a number of articles about the b twin bikes. All were complemetary and gave good reviews. I got a triban 500se last Friday and was then searching info about what other items I might need, like repair kit, mudguards etc then came across this site and started reading and decided to join in. Have been out on the bike 3 times, starting gently and have done 9.5 miles, 16.4 miles and 18.2 miles so far, been averaging between 14 and 15 mph for the rides (Yorkshire Wolds area). I have really enjoyed the rides, the bike has been excellent but the engine needs a little fine tuning.

I was just looking for advice on the triben500se and put the name in and came across this site. Had looked a bikeradar site but was not too impressed. I read the threads and comments on this site and thought it had a good feel so decided to join.

Hi folks, just bought myself a 500 se and the mrs a 5, looking forward to getting back on the road after 20 years away. Glad I found this forum, was checking to see how Tribans were rated, and found you all!

Having just purchased a Triban 500SE I was googling Triban 5 and came across the owners club. I had heard from previous research before buying the bike that a club existed, but really pleased to become a new member.

Everybody is welcome on the forum. But how did you find us? I would be very interested to know just how you got to know about the T3 Owners Club. Thanks all. Redleader.

Just a little google! 52 year old and wanted a good value bike to mix running and cycling. really lovely bike, not bothered how much it was, just wanted a nice bike but didn't want to pay over the top. obviously a lot of sensible people like myself out there. Hi to you all! just bought some clipless pedals, any first time out or getting used to tips? Thanks in advance.
