Hi Graham, might clean it before Sun though planning to use the Pearson as no map trap on T5! I'll swap the T5 saddle & flip the stem before the next outing.

Hi, I saw the link in a review for the Triban 3 on Decathlons website. I have been waiting for months for a 63cm to come back into stock. If anyone is looking to sell one I would be interested dependant on location. I am not able (perhaps as a newbie) to post a new thread in the Buy/Sell section. Any moderator seeing this - can you grant me access to post a wanted ad please. Regards, bedfordclanger

As I complete noob to road biking I searched "best value road bike", got a link to the Tribans, did a bit more searching on the brand and found this forum. It was after reading a load of threads on here that I took the plunge and got my T5

I arrived here through www.bdc-forum.it, where some users made references to this forum.

Everybody is welcome on the forum. But how did you find us? I would be very interested to know just how you got to know about the T3 Owners Club. Thanks all. Redleader. Hi All. Found the forum on Decathlon website in reviews for Triban 3. Bought mine in July last year and absolutely love it. Hadn't had a road bike for years, but was finding my mountain bike dependable but boring. I live in beautiful north west essex, so have plenty of quiet lanes to trundle about in, and a smattering of hills to get the ticker working. I'm 55 years old and planning my first Century ride for thirty years . Want to get in under 8 hours. wellsey58

New members or lurkers don't forget to pop over to the where are you from thread and the members map. Using these we can get little pockets of peeps together for B'TWIN rides out.
Pop a message up and I'll pin you on...

Found you through a goole search after looking at Decathlon website, and now the good news....
Boom! Got my new model white Triban3 a couple of weeks back from Surrey Quays. Looks great in white but would've preferred carbon fork model, (though having said that the forks seem fine.... just wish they were white like the rest of the bike. I geuss the gun metal colour is a poor attempt to make them look like more expensive aftermarket forks?) Some folk were getting a bargain as they were selling off the old model at Β£250, but only in small sizes and I needed 63 cm. Microshift sti type levers are great but sad to say bike had been appallingly set up. I live quite a distance away so had to take it to a local shop for a proper fit and set up. Damn this thing is FAST!!

Simple, my wife aka 'Mrs God' (a veritable oracle) informed that there is indeed a BTwin owners club. Delighted and chuffed tae bits to be a member.
