Cheddar Gorge! Take a look at the final climb on today's stage - 21% at one point.
Sky have had a pretty dismal Vuelta this year but Vasili Kyrienka came good for them today. Last time I saw him was on stage 8 of the TDF and he was on the point of being eliminated as he was out of time. No chance of that today.
Nibali cracked again and is hanging on in red by his fingernails with 3sec advantage.
Sorry Martin

'Super contento' - to quote Whack'em'Rod! Can't wait until this afternoon. This has been the best stage race by far this year. Its not a bad afternoon to get the bike out but I think I will have to resist the temptation.

Chapeau Chris Horner, what an absolute badass! The most epic stage in any grand tour I have ever seen, tbh this years vuelta makes the tdf seem a bit tame.

Yup. It was almost surreal with the riders disapppearing and emerging through the mist. Another young talent emerges from France and a great overall win for Chris Horner. Prior to the start one could have got really long odds on him being anyway near the leader board never mind winning.

Just watch the final stage this morning before off to work. It's just amazing that Chris was able to win the tour! Nice one mate, hopefully there's more days left in you yet! Really enjoyed this tour.
