Just got a Count 8 currently on offer from Decathlon for Β£14.99, same as the Count 4 so no brainer really!
My ride is the 51cm T3 so has 650c wheels, the best way to set the wheel size was to use the 'method 2' in the instructions to measure out the roll of the wheel from the valve for one full rotation. If it helps anyone else I measured my stock 650c's as 1955mm and entered as 'other' manually in the Count 8's parameter settings.
Fitting - the rubber band to fit the mount to the handle bars does seem rather tight, but don't be afraid to stretch it (nice and slowly) to fit, its fine. The computer itself slides on and off the mount nicely, although might need a bit of gentle encouragement to do so.
Fitting the sensor on the fork - mines fitted about 1 quarter of the way down from the top of the fork, again same rubber band fitting but you also have two little grooves top and bottom to put some supplied cable ties round which secures it nicely.
I didn't get a reading at first then sussed out that the little magnet that fits to the spoke needs to pass very close to the top edge of the sensor (where the little arrow is) and then all is well. You can move the sensor on the fork about gently to line it up properly, its tight but can be moved to get a nice tight arc with the spoke sensor.
All in all only took 10 about minutes to fit, a little longer to set up the computer itself as after all I am a bloke, and only speed read instructions (!). Well pleased with it on first impressions, took it out for a test spin and got up to a top speed of 24mph round the block. Looking forward to doing my first proper ride to see how it compares to my Strava readings.
If anyone else has the Count 4 or 8 or similar model and needs any advice from someone who's fitted it and got it working, please shout up and I'll be pleased to offer any advice I can :-)
