Oh. I just realised I’m on holiday (with limited internet) for most of the first 2 weeks of TdF.
D’oh!

I guess that's Froome's "Sports Personality of the Year" award out the window then Case now dropped. Seems Sky were right, in that concentration of substances can very depending on hydration levels, although report says he was still 19% over limit when this is accounted for.

Thank F.

ASO obviously in the mood now ... Velogames not doing ‘the current Grand Tour’ due to legal action.

Last year some of the best commentary on the tour was from the Lance Armstrong podcast. He's doing the same again The Lance podcast

best Tour in years by far! That finish yesterday was the best I've seen in years - wow! Shame about all the boos for Froome, I have no time for that.

agree. Boos for Froome will not affect him, the spitting and physical stuff is out of order. Prosecution is the only answer for that, ABH. The finish of the last two stages was fantastic. In fact Jullian Allaphipes stage win was fantastic too. The Tour is my least favourite of the Grand Tours as a spectacle, but really enjoying this edition. Hope it stays in the same vain. Really looking forward to the sprint mountain grid start stage.

So how about this....
What is to stop the Yates brothers pretending to be each other? Simon goes all out one day then recovers the next pretending to be Adam whilst Adam then gives it the beans pretending to be Simon. Repeat...
Just proposing a theory.

Remember the name Remco Evenepoel. He has just won the junior men's worlds in both the time trial and road race.
I have followed cycle racing for many years but have never seen anyone so dominant. He was absolutely head and shoulders above the opposition. In yesterday's road race he was delayed by two minutes by an accident but he caught the peleton in no time at all riding on his own. He then rode through and past the peleton and caught a breakaway group of about 10 riders. Rather than taking time to recover he continued to attack dropping the riders one by one finally winning by over a minute from the next rider.
Its on Eurosport "on demand". Never seen anything like it. Most races are won by very small margins. This guy is exceptional.

She-eet!!!
Sky to stop sponsoring Team Sky.
I'm not sure they'll be able to find another sponsor of that magnitude to step into the breach. Given the struggles of smaller teams to do so.
