Ride membership has the same legal cover race silver does.
So far they've seemed good. Had my first call from an ambulance chaser today too.

Given I hit a van at a police estimated 20mph, I came off lightly... Broken right collar bone, left shoulder blade, and a rib. Surprisingly little road rash. I'm dosed up on morphine and less serious pain relief and was told 4hours ago they'd discharge me home soon (after a day in the hospital) so hoping I'll be out soon. Physio said I'd be at least 6weeks of the bike, and likely 3months before I can really push it, but given no leg injuries, I'm hoping I can get on the turbo in a few weeks. How is the recovery going r0b1et? Hope it's in the right direction!

Sorry guys, not been logging in much as it's all a bit depressing...
Anyhow. First 3 weeks the left healed fast, I had nearly full movement back, and was regaining weight bearing (now it's almost back to normal, a little weak, but not bad at all). But the right wasn't, I was told to start spending a few hours a day not wearing my sling, but I was finding after 15 minutes the arm felt incredibly heavy, withing half an hour, if it wasn't resting on something to take the weight, I couldn't cope with the pain. It still looked wrong, the shoulder dropped part way along. I spoke to a consultant over the phone, and he decided I was likely needing an op to reconstruct the shoulder, I had that op 10 days ago, so I'm now semi metallic. The pain has been caused by the fact my whole shoulder ligament linking was broken, all 3 critical ligaments were missing, so my arm had no skeletal support.
The OP all went well, I'm still in quite a lot of pain, and not meant to use the shoulder at all for another week, but in 5 weeks I should have near full motion back.
I can basically do no exercise, I can walk, but even that is a bit taxing due to the broken rib. They said I can start gentle running in a fortnight, and indoor bike maybe at the same time. I can say safely though that my right arm is now very very weak, I'm doing my physio, but it's going to take a while to regain its strength.

I knew something was odd when you didn't even react to provocations, such as 'disk brakes are the best - period' or 'carbon is better than alu - period' ) looks like, they got it covered this time and it can only get better from now on. hope to see you on the road by mid summer.

Great to hear from you r0b1et ; not so great to hear what you've been through these past few weeks. Wishing you all the very best for the post op recovery. Just think of the new parts as upgrades!

Well, I'll not mess with you if you end up like that! Get yourself in the local pool bud, wishing you a speedy recovery - sorry to hear about the extra op.
