Ok it seems I am the only one asking so I might as well start the thread. So its the Caver Wolverhampton City Marathon with the 20K cycle event. I would like to see as many B'Twin bikes that is possible to make a statement to the public that this is a brand that's here to stay. Entry is at www.carvers.co.uk/category.aspx?EntryNo=4874It's Β£14 for the cycle event. So who's up for it? I know a few have similar interest but we need lots of people - its only 13 miles and the route is almost flat.

Well did the route this morning found that there are actually about five inclines to deal with but they aint nothing to cry about. The fact that I did the route under an hour is very encouraging. Curious though the map I have been following says 2012 so wondering if the route is going to be the same this year. Check it out o Strava. app.strava.com/activities/53721298#achievements

It seems the route may change after all. Just been looking around the one I have is from the council not the organisers and it aint even on their website!

Been working on getting more people involved in this event at work. So far I have one from work and a mate from church. Anyone here interested? It's a collection of good causes that will be benefitting from the proceeds and its based within Wolverhampton for those of the west midlands.

First post so please be gentle!!
Had my triban 3 for 4 weeks now and have been getting loads of info from this board.
Would have been up for this but I after today I don't think I would keep up.
I did 35 mile from Pelsall to Lichfield, Rugeley, Milford, Cannock and back to Pelsall and I was dead. Two groups went past me saw at least 3 tribans like I was standing still. Totally demotivated me :-(.
The 35 mile took me 3 hours 10 minutes.

Keep at some shorter rides and then try the same route in a few weeks - I bet you'll see an improvement.

We have all been there. And yes you can do the Wolverhampton Marathon there will be all types of people there even like you and worse!!!
