Princess Leia organa in jabba slave gear, none better than that I have been seeing photos and on telly of her. Man I can not believe how she has aged and big! Did you know there was a thing with her and Kirk for real? Saw her when they had that star war vs star trek fight with J. J. Abrams switching sides.

had guessed with the babylon 5 avatar. (We have the whole lot on dvd...) not heard of that one (SyFy Defiance) but then I don't watch the TV much when my OH is away from home and he has been away from home a rather lot recently. What channel is it on? could consider stargate universe, but nothing as sexy as farscape or dark angle. wondering what else I could consider... shall have the 'think' on it in bed... YOu have me pegged correctly! Science fiction fan all the way! Babylon 5 I have every episode, film and read the novels. Stargate and its spin offs, Star Trek, Star Wars (watching the Clone Wars animated series now) etc. Defiance is found on the SyFy channel and just showed episode 3 Tuesday night. It has an iOS app that syncs with the show at the time of viewing that gives a twitter page, contents, background and online quiz etc. It's really the first of its kind and will certainly be copied by every other show to come. Then there is the hot babe in the Continuum - Kiera Cameron the protector. Then there is Bo, a Succubus from Lost Girls in its second season - now she is very hot, very sexy and very very dangerous to men or women. You not seen any of these shows? all of star gate, all of star trek series, all of star wars, babylon 5, Andromeda (gives me an idea), etc, but not Defiance or Continuum. We don't get the SyFy channel unless it has very recently turned up on freeview. We missed some from being out of the country for a year, so there is a gap which we are still catching up on or waiting for repeats. Or I could go down the Firefly/Serenity route... (seriously good series - have that on DVD as well).

I have given you a lot to chew on Just watched a recorded episode of Lost Girl - Bo is sch quiet a character, although a bike named after the hottest known Succubus in SyFy history is (forgive for this one but I can't resist) just asking for trouble Now that I remember River was seen in the Alpha series which ended on a cliff hanger in season two. It got canned too just like Firefly. I really love Firefly it was just a cold injustice to end it like that and the movie Serenity was so awesome! What did you think of the movie?

Man you are old! There can only be one Number Six and that is Tricia Helfer of Battlestar Galactica!

Back to the thread.
I don't recall naming a mode of transport since my motorcycle days; then I had "Byke", "Jen", and lastly "La Duchessa". Cars don't have the same soul, although I sometimes referred to my ex-Vectra as "The Whoosh".
But I've started again with the cycles.
The budget bike Sprint that I've started to use for work (at least for this week), is now "The Nail". Not a very complementary term for the old steed I know, but it's built like an outside toilet and is about as comfortable to use.
The T3 is "Phaeton", mainly because I found it in Neil Gaiman's book 'Good Omens' where it was the name of a bike and I liked it.
