Went to Oxford yesterday. Once again received brilliant customer service. Warranty for my Mach transferred over from the original owner to me and a replacement rear wheel provided after a spoke pinged on the original.
I had a look at the Ultra's. Gosh, the pink certainly is pink! Not sure its to my liking and I can't get over that back brake caliper. Seems to be lots of people buying both kids and flat bar bikes when I was there. Also, bizarrely I thought, someone brought in a sparkling new Pinarello that they were having trouble with - I was surprised that if you are splashing out thousands on a bike that you would take it to a chain like Deca to sort out problems!
Had a look at all of the clothes. Was thinking of getting a top and bib shorts. Must admit that I don't like this year's bib shorts. To me they look a bit 'cheap' compared to the Aerofit's I bought last year (Blue pads are good, shiny black material isn't, shiny shoulder straps not so good). Also, for me, I found that all the 2XLs were too big for me around the legs, but the XLs were too small for me in length (ie The shoulder straps were too short). I tried the short sleeve tops on too and found 2XLs baggy and XLs too small in the arms! I must just be a funny shape at the moment! Does anyone else have this problem?

Yes, I've been very tempted by the Aerofit range esp when on offer but the fit doesn't match my middle age spread form, but then I don't think a skinsuit would flatter either . Also I'm not keen on the 'B'twin racing team' logo as I don't want to look as if I'm pretending to be something I'm not (not that there's much chance of mistaking me for one of the youth team )

I must be a similar funny shape too. I'm 6'4" tall. I recently bought some B'Twin bib shorts (which I'm really happy with) my usual size in clothing is XL but same as you I found them to short in length, tight shoulder straps too. I then tried the 2XL which were more comfortable on the shoulders so bought these ones. However, as I'm on the lanky side I still find the shorts length is short by comparison to other XL cycling shorts that I own. These sit abit higher above my knee than I'm comfortable with. I find myself fidgeting around, I'm imagining abit like a lady who is wearing a short skirt and is a touch paranoid about its length and finds themself adjusting it all day. The leg grippers do seem a touch loose too but I suppose that I just don't have the thighs that a typical 2XL sized bloke does.

I have found the Aerofit 700 range far too stretchy and quite frankly uncomfortable. L is too tight around zeee ahnouse, and XL is too loose...!
The 520 range is a thicker lycra and more comfortable, a lot more like the older XC700 range. I like these ones.
The Aerofit 900 3/4 lengths...don't even bother, most uncomfortable bibs in the world.

I like the racing team kit - fine to wear if you get a move on ! Me too,it's my new favorite. I have the same one as Rad was wearing at the BROC New Forest ride/photoshoot - was lucky I wasn't wearing the same kit or our little chaingang would have looked a bit too pro.

520 bib shorts are ok-ish, need getting used too, first two rides out and the under carriage was not happy, after a few washes and rides they seemed to have been broken in but the leg grippers are sh*te as my tan lines will tell you

The 520 bib short is so much more comfortable than the aerofit 700. Especially the shoulder straps on the aerofit 700 are really uncomfortable as they tend to roll up and then put pressure on the shoulder on a very small area.
I like the look of the 520 set (bibs/jersey in the pink/blue combination). Combined with the aerofit 700 gloves this makes a nice outfit on a the Alur 700.

I got the Aerofit 700 bibs last week while they're on offer. IT was telling me online they only had XL in Warrington so thought they'd be fine as r0b1et said they're 'very' aero. Well, they only had M and L so tired the L and they seemed to be an ok fit. After wearing them for the first time they're probably a little on the small side but got a feeling the XL would be far too big for me. An issue i have with Deca bibs is the thigh gripper always seems to be a little lose fitting (guess im missing leg day too often!! ).
